Sjoa Kayak Camp
The Sjoa Kayak Camp (AKA Sjoa Riksanlegget) is the hub of paddling activity in the Sjoa region and in Norway in general. The facilities are basic but it has a great atmosphere, great river access and is an information source and meeting place for visiting kayakers.
Onsite there are toilets, fireplace, BBQ area, trampoline, dish washing facilities and small sauna. Those camping also have access to onsite Wireless Internet and plugs for charging phones, cameras and laptops.
The camp is also the finish point for the classic Sjoa Playrun (Class 3) and starting point for the spectaclular Amot Gorge (Class 4+).
