Family Rafting is perfect for families visiting Norway looking for a safe and adventurous activity to entertain themselves and the kids.
All equipment is provided including full-wetsuit covering arms and legs (child sizes available), wet-shoes to keep your feet warm, and CE approved life-jacket and helmet to keep you safe.
Family Rafting Trip on Otta
The Family Rafting Trip takes place on the Otta River, a short drive from the Sjoa Valley and just an hour from Lillehammer.
You’ll experience rafting through simple rapids with fun waves and deep pools great for swimming and playing.
We start the trip 12km upstream of Otta and travel through the beautiful valley down to just upstream of the town. There's plenty of time for 'messing about in boats' and also some rapids with waves to keep everyone on their toes.
We can meet at our Sjoa base or at Otta Tourist Office beside the train station (recommended).
